Franconia Ridge

view from Franconia

The White Mountains of New Hampshire are really tough. But, the views that you get from the tops and even the sides of the mountains are breathtaking. Well, that is if you have any breath left to be taken. 🙂 After climbing up a very steep mountain we were rewarded with the Franconia Ridge. The Franconia Ridge has spectacular views as you walk the ridge line between mountains. The path is LINED with rocks, so that means there aren’t too many IN the path. This leads to much rejoicing!

I’m not sure what else to say about this awesome ridge line, so I’ll just give you some pictures:

signs on top of the mountains are held there by a pile of rocks

We found a recliner for a rest break
